Mage also does good damage with meteor, but that's basically the only spell that seems to do good damage. Also I can backstab, which is pretty useful combined with invisibility, at least against larger mobs and stuff. The only downside is specials are lot better on the heavy due to the way they work, charging daggers is a waste of damage since it takes so long. Sure dmg per hit is obviously lower, but like my rogue hits for 30-50 per hand and can do 2 rounds for every attack of my mino. On the damage thing that was being talked earlier, now that my rogue has 2 good weapons he easily keeps up with my barb mino heavy. Mino barb is the other front, 15evasion and 75prot, takes a lot less dmg per hit but virtually gets hit on every single hit so generally drinks more potions. 38evasion and only 25ish prot and doesn't feel too bad, though sometimes RNG rolls bad and he dies super fast. They're mostly worth using because with 5 heavy weapon you can use a 2H in one hand anyway, so might as well put a shield in the other. Besides one, shields only give evasion(and other stuff depending on the shield).
